
The Elmhurst Historical Museum has unveiled a new exhibit called “Dwellings: A Study in Residential Architecture”. The exhibit is a case study of the diverse architectural style of homes in the western suburbs. Examples include homes from the 1800’s through the current Eco-Friendly Green homes. The museum curator, Lance Tawzer, designed the exhibit to match the typical features of the various architectural styles with actual homes built in Elmhurst. The self-guided tour includes a map that matches the physical location in Elmhurst with the homes shown in the exhibit photographs. SWA Architects designed (more…)
